Preparation
Boil the water with the wine in a small saucepan. Add the tablespoon of lemon juice and the sweetener. Place the pear in the mixture, cover and cook gently stirring occasionally until the pear is cooked, but still firm, about 25 minutes. Remove the pear from the juice with a slotted spoon and place it on a dessert plate. Dilute the gelatin with a little sweetened water and add it to the hot wine, mix well and pour over the pear. Chill until serving time.
