Sirloin Steak With Onion Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3.3 pounds of boneless beef tenderloin steak
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp granulated pepper
  • 1 large onion, finely sliced, with separate rings
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Dried sage leaves, crushed

Servings: 8 servings (0.40 pounds per serving)

Preparation

CCut the beef into 4 equal portions and rub with pepper on the sides. Brown the steaks in a non-stick pan, without oil, over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until well cooked. Remove the steak from the pan, leaving the excess left in the pan. Cover the steak to keep it warm. Add the teaspoon of water to the excess of the pan, add the onion and cook stirring for 5 to 7 minutes or until they are tender and crispy. Add sauce, sage and cook 2 more.
