Pears Compote

Ingredients

  • 2.2 pounds of pears
  • 1 cup of splenda for cooking
  • 17 ounces of water
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece of lemon peel

Servings: 10 servings (1 unit per serving)

Preparation

The pears are removed the skin. They are split in half or in four parts if they are large. Remove their hearts and put them in a saucepan with the sweetener, wine, cinnamon and lemon peel. They are left to cook until they are very tender without being undone and served with the broth.
