Fish With Citrus Glassing


  • 8 fillets of white and firm fish
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of sweetener
  • Salt and black pepper

Servings: 8 servings (0.44 pounds per serving)


Mix the juices, the sauce and the sweetener in a medium saucepan. Boil over medium high heat. Cook and stir for 10 minutes or until the mixture is reduced by half. Remove half of the sauce and keep warm. Season the fish with salt, pepper to taste, and place it on a grill or griddle, pinch it with the sauce. Cook for 8 minutes or until the fish is easily broken with a fork, taking care to turn the steak at 4 minutes and smearing the sauce with a brush. Serve each fish fillet, sprinkle with a spoonful of the reserved sauce, and garnish with orange zest.
